Not all programmes are suitable for a printed production. This
applies to such programmes as Word, Power-Point and Excel. It is
all right to write the texts in Word, but for further processing for
print the texts have to be mounted into a layout-programme such
as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXpress.
Therefore, it is no use designing and delivering printed matters in
Word or PowerPoint. If, however, this is what you have available,
you may use Word exclusively for illustrating, how the printed
matter should look like, but it is important to deliver the
individual
parts, as pictures and print (bold, italic, etc.) of Word cannot be
imported into the layout-programme.
