A rule of thumb states that it is a good idea to redesign your
packaging every 3-4 years, otherwise your customers will see it as
outdated.
If you sell high-loyalty products (such as toothpaste or coffee,
Where customers seldom change brand) it is important to make
small changes when redesigning, so that the customer recognizes
the product immediately.
If you sell low-loyalty products (such as envelopes or mints) the
most important thing is for the packaging to stand out from the
crowd and "talk" to the customer.
